About Devorah Bitran
Devorah Bitran has extensive professional experience raising funds for academic institutions. Most recently, she was the assistant director of leadership gifts at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. In this position, she was responsible for facilitating annual and planned gifts from a group of up to 300 donors. Her daily activities included representing the Office of Advancement, attending council meetings, and planning fundraising events with alumni and friends of the University. Before accepting her position at Brandeis University, Devorah Bitran contributed to strategic planning initiatives at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she held the role of program manager for the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research.
